Control estrogen/prolactin

(number of products: 55)

Estrogen/Prolactin Control - this is a group of dietary supplements that we can use during the cycle to control the appropriate hormone concentration. Hormones play a key role in anabolic and catabolic processes in the body. Estrogens, although naturally occurring in both men and women, in excess can lead to undesirable effects such as water retention, gynecomastia in men or difficulty reducing body fat. Here you will find the best estradiol blockers like arimistane and ATD. Prolactin, in turn, in elevated concentrations, can affect lower testosterone levels, reduce libido and even slow down muscle regeneration after intense training. People who train strength, do fitness or combat sports often strive to maximize testosterone levels, which support muscle protein synthesis and accelerate regeneration. However, high levels of estrogen or prolactin can disrupt these processes, resulting in lower training effectiveness.

Estrogen – the enemy of the male figure

Although estrogen is commonly known as the "female" hormone, in small amounts it is essential for a man's health – it regulates, among other things, libido and joint function. The problem occurs when its level gets out of control. For a bodybuilder and strength athlete, excess estrogen is a real nightmare that ruins months of hard work.

Where does excess estrogen come from? The aromatization process

Your body has a special enzyme called aromatase. It can be compared to a factory that constantly converts a certain amount of your precious, anabolic testosterone into estradiol – the main form of estrogen. The higher your testosterone level (whether as a result of intensive training or the use of advanced substances such as prohormones), the more "raw material" this factory has. As a result, estrogen production increases rapidly, leading to a disruption of the key testosterone to estrogen ratio (T:E ratio).

Negative effects of estrogen on men

When the hormonal balance is disturbed in favor of estrogen, serious problems begin that directly affect the aesthetics of your figure and well-being:

  • Gynecomastia ("Gino"): It's every gym-goer's biggest fear. Excess estrogen stimulates receptors in breast tissue, leading to its growth. Symptoms start innocently enough - with itching, burning, and hypersensitivity of the nipples. If left untreated, they can lead to the development of palpable lumps and permanent enlargement of the gland, which can only be removed surgically.
  • Powerful Water Retention: Estrogen causes sodium retention, and with it - subcutaneous water. It is this mechanism that is responsible for the "flooded", puffy appearance. Even with very low body fat, high estrogen will make your muscles look flat and undefined, hidden under a layer of water.
  • Promoting Fat Storage: Estrogen promotes lipogenesis, the process of creating new fat tissue. Worse still, it promotes its storage in typically "male" problem areas - the stomach, hips and chest.
  • Libido and Mood Disorders: High estrogen is a sure-fire path to disaster in the bedroom. It causes a drastic drop in sexual drive, erection problems and general apathy. In addition, there are mood swings, irritability and a feeling of permanent fatigue.

Prolactin - an accomplice of estrogen that lowers mood and libido

If estrogen is the main gangster, then prolactin is its silent but equally dangerous accomplice. It is a hormone secreted by the pituitary gland, whose main role in women is to stimulate lactation. In men, its level should be trace.

What is prolactin, and when does it become a problem?

The problem occurs when prolactin levels rise. This may be caused by the use of certain anabolic compounds (especially from the nandrolone and trenbolone groups) or be a side effect of very high levels of estrogen, which in itself stimulates the secretion of prolactin.

"Prolactin Gyno" and other side effects

Prolactin, like estrogen, can stimulate receptors inbreast tissue and cause gynecomastia (so-called prolactin gyno), a symptom of which can even be discharge from the nipples (lactation). What's more, prolactin is an even more powerful destroyer of libido than estrogen. Its high level practically guarantees a complete loss of sexual drive and problems with sexual function. It works in synergy with estrogen, giving a double blow to your masculinity and well-being.

Aromatase Inhibitors (AI) - estrogen blockers

This is the first and most important line of defense against excess estrogen. Aromatase inhibitors, as the name suggests, block the action of the aromatase enzyme.

  • Mechanism of action:AI molecules attach to the aromatase enzyme, preventing it from converting testosterone into estrogen. This is action at the very source of the problem - instead of fighting existing estrogen, you prevent its formation.
  • Key ingredient - Arimistane (Androsta-3,5-diene-7,17-dione): Considered the gold standard among legal AIs. It is a so-called "suicide inhibitor", which means that it permanently and irreversibly deactivates the enzyme molecule with which it binds. This results in a drastic reduction in estrogen levels, which leads to rapid loss of subcutaneous water, hardening of the figure and revealing muscle definition. Additionally, Arimistane has the ability to lower cortisol levels, which creates an even more anabolic environment.

Prolactin Reducers – Pituitary Support

Fighting prolactin requires a different approach. Its main natural inhibitor in the body is dopamine. Therefore, the most effective prolactin reducers work by stimulating dopamine receptors.

  • Mechanism of action: By increasing dopamine activity in the brain, they send a signal to the pituitary gland to stop the production and secretion of prolactin.
  • Key Ingredients:
    • Vitex Agnus-Castus (Chasteberry): A clinically proven herb that lowers prolactin levels by affecting D2 receptors.
    • Mucuna Pruriens (Świerzbiec Właściwy): It is a natural, rich source of L-DOPA, which is a direct precursor of dopamine. It powerfully and effectively inhibits the secretion of prolactin.
    • Vitamin B6 (especially P-5-P): In higher doses, vitamin B6 also has the ability to lower prolactin levels through its effect on dopaminergic pathways.

When to use prolactin and estradiol blockers?

Intelligent estrogen and prolactin management is the hallmark of a conscious athlete. Products in this category are used in several key scenarios:

  1. On-Cycle Support: An absolute must when using prohormones or SARMs that have a tendency to aromatize. Using an aromatase inhibitor from the beginning of your cycle will prevent these problems and allow you to enjoy clean gains.
  2. During Post-Cycle Therapy (PCT): As your body resumes natural testosterone production, you may experience a temporary "rebound" and increase in aromatase activity. Adding an AI to your PCT helps keep estrogen in check, protecting gains and preventing post-cycle gynecomastia.
  3. As a Standalone Supplement: Ideal for natural athletes who want to optimize their testosterone to estrogen ratio. Even a small reduction in estrogen levels can bring visible improvements in muscle hardness and definition and have a positive effect on well-being and libido.
