Ephedra - 25 mg - is a natural extract of Ephedra Sinica also known as Ma Huang. Studies have shown that this remedy strongly stimulates, supports fat burning and improves focus. Senegalia Berlandieri - the plant is a source of many alkaloids, which include: N-methylphenethylamine, tyramine and phenylethylamine. Senegalia Berlandieri has the effect of increasing energy, increasing motivation to act and improving mood. Its effect is to increase dopamine, serotonin and adrenaline levels in the body. Synephrine is comparable in its effects to ephedrine. It also increases daily energy expenditure. Studies show that synephrine also has a fatigue-reducing effect and makes it easier to maintain focus over the long term, e.g. during increased mental workload.

Green Tea Extract - The catechins in green tea inhibit an enzyme called catechol O-methyltranferase or COMT, which actually breaks down the main fat-burning hormone, norepinephrine. Because green tea is rich in catechins it helps to raise norepinephrine levels, keep them elevated and prolong thermogenesis. Green tea is therefore a very good supplement during weight loss. It has also been shown that there is a synergistic interaction between the caffeine in green tea and the catechins (in particular EGCG) in green tea, which increases the body's use of calories as energy.
