What is methylcobalamin?
Methylcobalamin is the most effective, best bioavailable, and biologically active form of vitamin B-12. It is the only vitamin that crosses the blood-brain barrier and thus influences the functioning of the central nervous system. Thanks to its methyl groups, it stimulates the production of serotonin (a neurotransmitter responsible for the feeling of happiness). It plays a key role in the process of cell growth and replication. Methylcobalamin achieves its neuroprotective effect by increasing methylation, accelerating the growth of nerve cells, or the ability to neutralize high levels of homocysteine responsible for cardiovascular disease, atherosclerosis, thrombosis, heart attack, or stroke.

B12 deficiency is manifested by frequent diarrhea and nervous system disorders. If the level of vitamin B12 is too low, irritability, fatigue, and a generally bad mood occur. An increased need for vitamin B12 is observed in intestinal diseases, intestinal flora abnormalities, gastritis, as well as during a vegetarian diet.

Composition:
1 serving, 1 tablet:
Vitamin B12 - in the form of methylcobalamin - 200 mcg - is primarily responsible for the proper functioning of the immune, nervous and circulatory systems. Its action is focused on regulating processes related to, for example, the production of erythrocytes. Many people have a vitamin B12 deficiency, especially on low-calorie diets, which is the cause of many negative ailments. Lack of adequate supply of vitamin B12 results in a bad mood, muscular weakness, lack of desire for physical activity, irritability, and problems with remembering and focusing.
Methylcobalamin takes an active part in the choline and nucleotide synthesis process. This translates into a strong protective effect on the nervous system. What is more, it takes part in metabolic processes allowing for better assimilation of proteins, carbohydrates, and fats.

Dosage: 1 capsule 1-2 times a day.
